General Physiotherapy

We treat people, not just injuries.
Some of our clients are competitive athletes striving to perform at their best. Others simply want to return to the gym, enjoy a run, walk the dog, play with their children, or feel confident moving again after an injury or surgery.
Whether you're a runner, footballer, Hyrox athlete, CrossFit athlete, gym-goer, cyclist, golfer, tennis or padel player, volleyball or basketball player, or someone who simply wants to get back to doing the things they love, we'll tailor your rehabilitation to your goals.
Because rehabilitation isn't just about getting back to sport. It's about getting back to your life.

We help people recover from a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including sports injuries, muscle strains and tears, tendon pain, ligament injuries, back and neck pain, shoulder, elbow, hip, knee and ankle problems, running injuries, post-operative rehabilitation and persistent pain.
Whether your goal is to return to sport, keep exercising or simply move without limitations, we're here to help you get back to what matters most.

No. You can book directly without a GP referral.

If you've had imaging, surgery or have been referred by another healthcare professional, feel free to bring any reports with you.

Sometimes, yes.

Many musculoskeletal conditions respond well to a structured rehabilitation programme. If surgery is the best option, we'll also guide you through your recovery afterwards.

Every injury and every person is different.

We'll discuss a realistic plan after your assessment, based on your condition, goals and lifestyle, and review your progress as you improve.

Not usually.

Complete rest is rarely the answer. We'll help you modify your activity so you can keep moving while giving your body the best chance to recover.

Sports Rehabilitation

Not at all.

We help anyone whose pain or injury is stopping them from living the active life they want. Our clients include runners, footballers, Hyrox athletes, CrossFit athletes, gym-goers, cyclists, golfers, tennis and padel players, volleyball and basketball players, cricketers, track and field athletes, and people who simply want to move confidently again.

Yes.

Our goal isn't just to reduce pain but to help you return to your sport with confidence.
We combine rehabilitation with objective testing, including strength and performance assessments, to help guide safe return-to-sport decisions.

Absolutely.

We regularly rehabilitate people following ACL reconstruction, meniscus surgery, tendon repairs, shoulder stabilisation, joint replacements and many other orthopaedic procedures.
Every rehabilitation programme is tailored to your surgery, your goals and your stage of recovery.

While injuries can't be completely prevented, their risk can often be reduced.

Our Athletic Profiling Assessment identifies strength deficits, movement limitations and asymmetries that may increase injury risk or limit performance, helping you stay active for longer.

Diagnostic Ultrasound

Yes.

Diagnostic ultrasound allows us to safely assess muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints in real time during your appointment, helping us guide diagnosis and rehabilitation.

Yes.

We'll explain the findings during your appointment and discuss what they mean for your rehabilitation.

Rehabilitation Technology

BFR uses specialised cuffs to help build strength using lighter loads.
It's particularly useful after surgery or when pain makes heavier strength training difficult.

VBT measures how quickly you move a weight to individualise your training.
It helps develop both strength and power, making it especially valuable during return-to-sport rehabilitation.

Flywheel devices use inertia rather than traditional weights to create resistance.
They're particularly effective for eccentric strength training, helping develop stronger muscles and tendons while reducing the risk of future injury.

Dynamometry allows us to objectively measure muscle strength and track your progress throughout rehabilitation.
It helps us make informed decisions rather than relying on guesswork.

Force plates measure how you produce and absorb force during movements such as jumping, landing and balancing.
They provide objective information that helps guide rehabilitation, performance training and return-to-sport decisions.

Our Approach

We don't just treat injuries, we help people get back to doing what matters to them.
Every rehabilitation programme is tailored to your goals, lifestyle and the activities you enjoy. Alongside clinical expertise, we use objective testing to measure your progress and guide decisions throughout your recovery. We believe in testing, not guessing.

Private Medical Insurance

Yes.

We are recognised by several major UK private medical insurers, and many patients use their insurance to cover the cost of physiotherapy. We recommend checking your policy details before your appointment, as cover varies between providers and plans.

We are recognised by many of the UK’s leading private medical insurers, including:

  • AXA Health
  • Bupa
  • Vitality Health

If your insurer isn’t listed, please get in touch. We’ll be happy to let you know if we’re recognised by your provider.

It depends on your insurer and your policy.

Some insurers allow you to self-refer directly to physiotherapy, while others may require a GP or specialist referral before authorising treatment. We recommend checking with your insurer before booking.

Please send us before your appointment:

  • Your insurance provider name
  • Membership or policy number
  • Authorisation or claim number
  • The number of sessions your insurer has approved

Having these details helps us process your claim smoothly.

This depends on your insurance policy.

Some policies cover the full cost of treatment, while others include an excess, cash back, co-payment or limit on the number of physiotherapy sessions. We recommend checking your level of cover with your insurer before your appointment.

No problem.

You can still book an appointment as a self-paying patient. Our pricing is transparent, and we’ll discuss the most appropriate treatment plan based on your needs and goals.
